APCTT actively participated in the Innovation City Workshop: Digital Transformation and Industry-Academia Collaboration Development Policy Exchange held in Beijing from 21 to 22 May 2026. On the afternoon of 21 May, APCTT delivered a keynote speech in the session Technological Innovation and Building Application Scenarios for APEC Innovative Cities, contributing Suzhou experience and APCTT’s solutions to regional open innovation and collaborative development.

This workshop brought together representatives from the private sector and innovation institutions across APEC economies for in-depth exchanges on urban innovation-driven development, cross-border technological cooperation, and the building of application scenarios. During the session, the APCTT delegate systematically introduced the Center’s position, core vision and innovative practices, and shared a practical case on building Application Scenarios. 

The delegate highlighted APCTT’s long-term participation in PPSTI meetings, implementation of APEC projects, promotion of collaboration among APEC centers, facilitation of cross-economy cooperation, and efforts to build an open innovation ecosystem across APEC area. APCTT introduced the innovative model， which has promotes the integration of innovation chains, industrial chains and capital chains, and provided replicable experience for APEC economies to build urban innovation application scenarios.
